GVCA has sponsored and brought various other arts to the Garden Valley area including chamber music by “Classical Revolution” and the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company which was integrated into the school district for a week of instruction through movement; and other performing artists. GVCA artists are actively involved in the School by teaching various types of art lessons in the high school art class as well as classes at the Center for adults and students.
There are a variety of ways
to become a part of the
GARDEN VALLEY CENTER
FOR THE ARTS
Garden Valley Center for the Arts grew out of twin desires to promote local area artists and to continue arts education for children and adults.
GVCA opened in April 2013 with its first gallery show, “Selections from GVart”. By June the Pottery Studio was a reality due to equipment donations from Treasure Valley Community College. Our Education Curriculum included children’s art and music workshops, along with basic drawing and painting classes for adults as well as various other adult classes are offered to encourage adults to learn and CREATE!
We are looking for an exhibits Curator to arrange monthly exhibits for GVCA. Become a part of the Garden Valley community of those supporting the arts by volunteering for this VERY IMPORTANT CONTRIBUTION in our area.
The Gallery is dark in January,however-- the gift gallery will be open
